The Berlin Wall Memorial runs along Bernauer Strasse, one of the most powerful places to understand how the Wall cut through ordinary streets and lives. The site includes preserved border installations, open-air exhibits, memorials, and a visitor centre.
Allow time to walk the full stretch rather than treating it as a single marker. The memorial is direct, sober, and far more useful for understanding divided Berlin than most isolated Wall fragments.
