Every summer, sand sculptors from around the world build an outdoor gallery near the Hauptbahnhof — pyramids, animals, abstract forms, some several metres tall. It's a surprisingly engaging spectacle. There are bars and canvas chairs if you want to sit with a drink and watch the crowds go by. The sculptures last only through the season.
