Spreepark

Spreepark is Berlin's former amusement park in Plänterwald, best known for its abandoned Ferris wheel and overgrown rides. It opened in East Germany in 1969 and became a cult urban-exploration landmark after closing in 2002.

Access has varied as the site has been redeveloped, so treat it as a planned visit rather than a casual shortcut through the park. Even from outside, the old rides give this corner of the Spree a distinctive atmosphere.
