Schloss Köpenick is a Baroque water palace on an island in the Dahme river. Built for the Hohenzollern electors, it is surrounded by gardens and now houses museum collections in a quieter corner of Berlin.
The palace is worth the trip for its setting as much as its architecture, especially when combined with a walk through old Köpenick.
