Großer Tiergarten is Berlin's largest central park, spreading west from the Brandenburg Gate toward Charlottenburg. Its paths, lawns, ponds, and monuments make it a useful green route between major sights rather than just a place to sit down.
It is especially good for a long walk or cycle ride after visiting the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate, or the museums and memorials around Mitte.
