Strandbad Wannsee is Berlin's classic public bathing beach, open since 1907 and protected as a heritage site. Its long sandy lakefront has space for thousands of swimmers and sunbathers, with a separate nudist area.
It is best treated as a half-day summer outing rather than a quick photo stop.
