Schloss Tegel, also known as the Humboldtschlösschen, is a restrained classical castle redesigned by Karl Friedrich Schinkel in the 1820s. Alexander and Wilhelm von Humboldt lived here, and the house remains a rare private survival of Berlin's old estate landscape.
