Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church is one of western Berlin's defining landmarks. The bombed-out neo-Romanesque tower was left standing as a war memorial, while the modern church beside it adds a blue-glass interior that feels very different from Berlin's older churches. It anchors Breitscheidplatz and is an easy stop from Zoo station or the Ku'damm.
