Schloss and Schlosspark Biesdorf

Schloss Biesdorf is a small late-classical villa set in a landscaped park in eastern Berlin. Martin Gropius designed the original house, and the surrounding Schlosspark gives the place a calmer, more suburban feel than Berlin's central palace sights.

The draw is the combination of architecture, gardens, and local history. It is most rewarding if you are already exploring the eastern districts or want a less crowded green stop away from the city's headline museums.
