Rotes Rathaus

Rotes Rathaus is Berlin's red-brick city hall, a landmark of central Mitte near Alexanderplatz. Its name comes from the colour of the brick rather than politics.

The exterior is the main draw, but the Prussian rooms inside are worth seeing when access is available. It pairs easily with nearby Nikolaiviertel, the Fernsehturm, and Museum Island.
