Despite the name ("Knoblauch" means garlic), this house belonged to a noble Berlin family, not a vegetable dealer. It traces bourgeois life from the 18th to the early 20th century through Biedermeier furniture and classicist interiors. Small and unpretentious — a good contrast to the grand museums nearby on the island.
