The Landwehrkanal is one of Kreuzberg's best urban walks, running through the district with long, mostly traffic-free stretches beside the water. In warm weather the banks fill with cyclists, picnickers, and cafe tables, making it a good way to see everyday Berlin away from the main monuments.
