Fatehpuri Masjid

Fatehpuri Masjid anchors the western end of Chandni Chowk. It was built in 1650 by Fatehpuri Begum, one of Shah Jahan's wives, and still feels tied to the market life around it.

The mosque makes a natural stop while walking between Chandni Chowk, Khari Baoli, and the lanes of Old Delhi. Go respectfully, and expect the surrounding streets to be busy.
