Satpula

Satpula is a 14th-century water-harvesting dam associated with the reign of Sultan Muhammad bin Tughlaq. Its name means "seven bridges", referring to the arched openings that once helped control and store water for the southern edge of medieval Delhi.

The structure is a useful stop for visitors interested in Delhi's lesser-known Sultanate monuments. It is less polished than the major archaeological sites, but it shows how engineering and defense overlapped in the city's early history.
