Flagstaff Tower

Flagstaff Tower is a stout castellated signal tower on the North Ridge, built around 1828. It is best known for its role during the 1857 uprising, when Europeans fleeing the city gathered here before moving north. The tower is a short historic stop within the ridge area rather than a long museum visit.
