Kamani Auditorium is one of Delhi's best-known venues for classical Indian music, dance, and theatre, located on Copernicus Marg near Mandi House. The 600-seat hall has hosted performances of Hindustani and Carnatic classical music, Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and Odissi dance, and drama for over four decades. It is the centrepiece of the Mandi House cultural district, alongside the Shri Ram Centre, LTG Auditorium, and the Triveni Kala Sangam gallery.
The auditorium hosts performances most evenings and weekend afternoons. Tickets are priced accessibly, making it possible to see high-quality classical performances for very little cost. Check the monthly programme on their website; the festival season from October through February offers the richest programme.
