Roshanara Garden was laid out in 1650 by Roshanara Begum, daughter of Shah Jahan and sister of Aurangzeb. The garden contains her tomb, a lake that attracts winter birds, and surviving Mughal garden traces, giving north Delhi a quieter historic stop away from the better-known monuments.
