Parken is Denmark's national football stadium and the home ground of FC Copenhagen, the country's dominant club side. Capacity is 38,000 and the stadium also hosts major concerts when not in use for football. The ground is in Østerbro, at the edge of Fælledparken, and forms the core of the neighbourhood's identity as an expensive, established area with a strong sporting culture.
FC Copenhagen matches are well-attended and the atmosphere is good by Scandinavian standards — not loud enough to be overwhelming, but genuinely engaged. The club plays in European competition most years. Tickets are usually available on the day for domestic league matches.
