Capitol Park is a small downtown square wrapped in some of Detroit's better historic high-rises. The surrounding district includes Art Deco and early modern office buildings, including the David Stott and Griswold buildings, so it rewards anyone who likes looking up at city architecture.
It is close to Campus Martius, the People Mover, and the downtown core. Use it as a short architectural stop while walking between the riverfront, Grand Circus Park, and Woodward Avenue.
