Indian Village

Indian Village is one of Detroit's most impressive residential historic districts, lined with early 20th-century houses in Tudor Revival, Colonial Revival, and Mission styles. It is a good place for a slow architecture walk east of downtown.

The name is historic and does not refer to a Native American community. The appeal here is the streetscape: large houses, mature trees, and a reminder of the city's wealthy industrial-era neighbourhoods.
