Russell Industrial Center

Russell Industrial Center is a large Albert Kahn-designed industrial complex built between 1915 and 1925. Once part of Detroit's auto supply chain, its seven buildings now hold artist studios, workshops, and creative businesses.

It is best visited when studios, markets, or events are open, when the scale of the old factory buildings and the current art scene are both visible.
