Ste. Anne de Detroit

Ste. Anne de Detroit is one of the oldest Catholic parishes in the United States, founded in 1701. The present church dates from 1886 and mixes Classical Revival and Gothic Revival elements, with twin spires that make it one of the most distinctive landmarks on Detroit's southwest side.

It is worth a stop for the architecture and for the deep French Catholic history behind the city.
