Bowling Green

Bowling Green is a small park at the foot of Broadway and the oldest public park in New York City. It is best known today for the Charging Bull sculpture nearby, but the site also carries a longer civic history tied to Lower Manhattan and Broadway's ticker-tape parades.

The park is an easy stop while walking between Battery Park, Wall Street, and the ferry terminals. It is not large, but its position makes it a useful landmark in the Financial District.
