Luna Park

Luna Park is Coney Island's modern amusement park, named for the original 1903 Luna Park that helped make the area famous. It brings together roller coasters, carnival rides, games, and the summer noise that still defines this corner of Brooklyn.

It is best visited as part of a Coney Island day: ride something, walk the boardwalk, eat badly in the traditional way, and leave time for the beach. In warm weather the place is crowded, but that is part of the point.
