The Valentine-Varian House is an 18th-century farmhouse and the home of the Museum of Bronx History. It is one of the borough's rare surviving colonial-era buildings, and its exhibitions use the house to tell a wider story of the Bronx before and after urban growth.
It works well with the New York Botanical Garden or Van Cortlandt Park if you are spending time in the north Bronx.
