Flushing Meadows-Corona Park is the largest park in Queens and the fourth largest in New York City. It was built on a landfill site for the 1939 World's Fair and hosted the 1964 Fair as well. The 140-foot stainless steel Unisphere, built for the 1964 Fair, remains the dominant landmark. The park also contains the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, home of the US Open, and Citi Field stadium.
