Carnegie Hall

Carnegie Hall is one of New York's landmark concert halls, opened in 1891 and still a major stage for classical music, jazz, recitals, and visiting orchestras. Its main Stern Auditorium is the famous room, but the complex also includes the smaller Weill Recital Hall and Zankel Hall.

Even if you are not attending a performance, the building is worth noting while walking Midtown for its place in the city's cultural history.
