Washington Square Park

Washington Square Park is the public heart of Greenwich Village, anchored by its marble triumphal arch and fountain. It is busy, musical, student-filled, and surrounded by 19th-century townhouses and New York University buildings.

Come for the street life as much as the architecture. The park is an easy stop while walking between the West Village, SoHo, and the East Village.
