The Shanghai IFC is a twin-tower mixed-use development on the north side of Lujiazui, containing luxury retail (one of Shanghai's best high-end malls), offices, and the Four Seasons Hotel. The mall's tenant list includes brands not found in other Shanghai malls, making it useful for shoppers interested in luxury retail rather than mass-market chains.
The IFC's connection to the Lujiazui Metro station makes it the arrival and transit point for most visitors to the financial district. The riverside promenade adjacent to the IFC towers provides views back toward the Bund and is one of the better stretches for photography of the colonial waterfront from Pudong.
