Shanghai Circus World is one of the city's main venues for large-scale acrobatic shows. It is a purpose-built theatre rather than a casual street performance space, and its productions lean into the polished, high-energy side of Chinese acrobatics.
It is a good choice for families or for visitors who want an evening activity that does not depend on Chinese-language theatre. Check the current show and schedule before heading north, as the venue is useful only when a performance is running.
