Liebling Haus, also known as the Berlin-Tel Aviv Centre for the White City, is a fully restored 1936 Bauhaus apartment building on Idelson Street that operates as a study centre and museum for the White City. It is one of the most precise restorations of a Bauhaus residence in Tel Aviv — original tiles, light fittings, and the small kitchen-and-pantry layout typical of the period.
The basement holds a permanent exhibition on the construction of the White City; the ground floor has rotating exhibitions on Bauhaus design and architecture. Worth at least an hour. Funded jointly by the city and the German government.
