Yarkon Park

Yarkon Park, on the banks of the Yarkon River in the north of the city, is the largest park in Tel Aviv at almost four square kilometres. It runs along most of the lower river, with cycle paths, sports fields, a tropical garden, a small zoo, and a large concert venue (the main outdoor venue for visiting international artists).

Bicycles can be rented at several points around the park. The standard ride is the river loop — along the south bank to the eastern end, across by bridge, and back along the north — about ten kilometres. The park is also where most Tel Avivians go for picnics on weekends.
