The Suzanne Dellal Centre for Dance and Theatre occupies a beautifully restored 19th-century school building in Neve Tzedek, set in a sequence of stone-paved courtyards with orange trees and shaded benches. It is the home of the Batsheva Dance Company, Israel's flagship contemporary dance ensemble.
There are two performance venues, an outdoor amphitheatre for summer events, and a permanent roster of dance and theatre programming. Tickets are reasonable by international standards. Even outside performance hours, the courtyards are one of the most pleasant outdoor spaces in central Tel Aviv.
