The Tayelet is the wide stone-and-wood pedestrian and cycle promenade running along the top of the Tel Aviv beach. The southern section, from the Tel Aviv port north of the centre down to the Jaffa Port at the southern end, is about ten kilometres of continuous walking.
The 2020s redesign added wider lanes, more shade, generous bench seating, and a long curving wood deck overlooking the Charles Clore Park on the southern stretch. It is the standard pre-dinner stroll for the entire city in the warmer months.
