The Rubin Museum is the former home and studio of the painter Reuven Rubin (1893-1974), one of the first generation of modern Israeli artists. It sits on Bialik Square next to the Bialik House and is a small dedicated museum of his work, with the family residence on the upper floors preserved as it was.
The collection covers Rubin's main themes — Mediterranean landscapes, Israeli scenes, biblical subjects in a modern Cubist-influenced style. About forty-five minutes; small entry fee.
