Rokuharamitsu-ji is a small temple east of central Kyoto, best known for its museum of Kamakura-period Buddhist sculpture. The highlight is the famous statue of Kuya Shonin, with six tiny figures emerging from his mouth to show the syllables of the nenbutsu chant.
